Quiz #175 - Have to love them

Dear Folks,

Whew!  A rather warm to hot week, weather wise, in the state of Connecticut. Remember to check out this week's online bulletin's to view Adam's thoughts on Act 16 and to view the pray list for those in need of God's help in spiritual, emotional, and physical situations.

Adam's sermon on Sunday...what do I think he will focus on?  His thoughts in his bulletin mentioned that we need to listen carefully for the
Holy Spirit's voice. Elijah learned that sometimes God speaks to us in a whisper.

1 Kings 19:11-13
The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

What can we learn from Paul’s experience about what can happen as we follow revelation?
As we follow revelation from God, we can be guided to those who are ready to receive the gospel.

See you at Service tomorrow, starting at 9:30 a.m.

Hugs,
Michael

6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
